Q. I already know the basics about animal nutrition, but I was wondering if there's anything that's a must-know.
I'm aware PaH provide training, but I'd like to prepare myself before hand. You don't need to give me full information, just names of stuff and I can then search for the information.

A. Well it depends on what you're working on with the animals, what animals you're working with, and what equipment you have to do those things. But almost every thing you do will need schooling for you to do yourself.
For a start though, you are going to need to know more then just the basics for the nutrition.Actually you need to do as much research for that as possible! That will help a lot.
I you can give a little bit more info about what you want to do, you'll defiantly get a better answer.
Sorry, I hope this helps!!

Do nutrition labels list all the vitamins and minerals contained in the food?
Q. I ask because I read that certain foods are good sources of a particular nutrient, yet sometimes that's not reflected in the label. I realize that some foods lose nutrients through processing, but do companies only list certain "key" nutrients?
A. I think its against the law to mislabel food labels in terms of nutritional content. I'm likely more to believe the nutritional content label than what i've read in magazines... So i guess to answer your question, if it says so on the nutritional content label then thats whats in it. hope this helped. :-)
How does nutrition assistance aka food stamps work?
Q. I live in Arizona and the unemployment rate here is $240.00 before federal and state taxes. You are then left with $214.00. I was wondering how does nutrition assistance aka food stamps work? Do you receive a check, or a debit card?
A. The first thing you should do is go to the website, and use the screening tool to see if you might qualify: https://www.azdes.gov/variant.aspx?id=5199
You can view the formula for eligibility requirements by visiting: https://www.azdes.gov/main.aspx?menu=355&id=5202
You receive a card that contains your nutrition assistance on it. The card works like an ATM or Debit card at grocery stores and other places where EBT is accepted. The card is a QUEST Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that is issued to the receiptant by JP Morgan. Sometimes they send you a card, and then later you learn that you are ineligible, it's the way their system works.
