Q. There are so many websites with calorie counters. What is a really good one, that won't eventually charge you? Sometimes, some websites are hard to navigate and I'm having a hard time finding a good one. Thanks!
A. www.fitday.com. It tracks the calories plus the fat, protein and carbs and breaks them down into percentages/grams. It also tracks your daily workouts and your weight gain/loss. I love it!
what calorie counter can show how much calories i consumed and how much i burned every second?
Q. Is their a calorie counter that tells how much calories was from that particular food you ate, and also how much burned with every step you take, then you can keep a log of that in that counter too? if so, what is it called? where to get it from and how much it costs?
A. if you use spark people, you can only keep track on one computer. these sites will also let you keep track.
How accurate are the calorie counters on treadmills and cardio equipment?
Q. Any ideas on how accurate the counters are on treadmills and other cardio equipment at the gym? My gym uses Precor equipment and I always wonder how close the display is to the actual calories I'm burning. Obviously it's probably a little closer if you put in your age and weight, but what about basic muscle mass and body composition?
A. They are totally just a toy added feature with no accuracy.
They assume everyone burns energy at the same rate which isn't right.
It comes down to your own individual bodies chemical composition and reactions.
Do your exercise everyday and use digital scales to keep an approximate record. And obviously eat a balanced diet.
