Q. I enter in my weight info and how long and Im trying to keep track of how many calories I burn when I excersie by am not quite sure how accurate it is. Help?
A. Not very, even if you input your weight and age, it's still off. I participated in a study in college, and wore a state of art calorie counter, apparently when the treadmill said 400 calories, I was only at 300. So It seems that the treadmill normally over state your calories.
How accurate is the calorie counter on the elliptical?
Q. I was just wondering, how accurate could it be?
A. On their own, they are utterly inaccurate. After you put in your relevant information (weight and age) they become more accurate, but they can still be off by as much as 33%. When you couple that with the fact that they artificially inflate the number to make you feel better, you can say that they are not very accurate at all.
The treadmill one is a little bit better, but not much. You pretty much only want to concern yourself with time, angle and resistance on the ellptical (maybe heart rate if you want to). Everything else is extra and can be ignored.

What is the best calorie counter website out there?
Q. I remember when I was younger, my brother would keep track of all the nutrition he would intake in a day by inserting the food he ate that day into a calculator. It would allow you to pick what brand of that product you ate also. It automatically gave you your daily intake of calories, proteins, carbs, and everything else. If any one knows what website this may be then please tell me. Otherwise, I will give best answer to the one who gives me the best website that is most similar to what I explained.
A. Myfitnesspal.com works great! I have the app on my android phone. You can log all food you eat, and exercise, and it shows you how many calories per day, and how many you have left. It keeps track of weight and measurements. I really like it and so does my husband.
