How many calories do u lose if you eat 1000 calories and exercise everyday?

Q. Hello I weigh 63-64kgs and want to get down to about 60kgs! I am 171cm tall! ;)
I am 16yrs
I want to lose 3-4kgs
Also I play netball for 1:30mins and ride horses for 1hrs either one or the other or both!

A. It depends on what exercise you do and how much of each exercise :) x.

How many calories should I eat considering the amount of calories that I burn?
Q. I currently weigh 170 pounds and am 5' 7'' tall. According to my resting metabolic rate, I should be eating 1558 calories per day. If I burn around 1000 calories a day, does this mean that I get to eat 2558 calories and still be able to lose weight?

A. If you want to loose weight you have to take in less calories than you put out..each pound is worth 3500 calories..deduct 500 calories each day of the week and @ the end of the week you will have lost 1#..doesn't sound like much, but look @ a # of butter..that's quite a lot.. so start with a 1800 calorie diet, if you gain or remain the same, drop it to 1500 calories. you did not put the weight on overnight, so therefore you need take it off slow..besides it is much healthier and will stay off easier if taken off slowly. You can do it..good luck.

How many calories should be consumed on a "very low calorie diet"?
Q. I need to lose about 60 lbs. (just had twins)
and I am going to go on a real low cal diet to speed the process but how many calories should I consume on this diet? I have started the raw vegitarain diet. Whats too low of calories and to high?

A. By restricting your calories, you are going to actually prevent yourself from losing weight. If you simply exercise daily and eat 1500 calories a day, you will lose the weight in about 5-6 months. Don't starve yourself to get thin...It won't work and you are not helping your body at all!
